Tammy Goldberg , LCSW-C, Esq. is a licensed clinical social worker who works with children, adolescents and adults. She has gained experience in a broad range of settings which have enhanced her clinical practice, such as educational advocacy, separation and divorce, and domestic abuse. Tammy works with clients in a collaborative, non-judgmental manner to understand their existing beliefs, thoughts and behaviors and then strives to help clients reach their goals in terms of magnifying strengths and making important changes in any of these areas. She takes an integrative approach to therapy, utilizing different modalities to address issues brought into therapy by the client. This includes a combination of cognitive-behavioral therapy, which focuses on changing behavior and thought patterns regarding certain situations; dynamic therapy, which focuses on examining the underlying roots of the thoughts or behavior; and experiential therapy, which focuses on using the therapy session as a means to explore the feelings associated with particular situations or relationships.

Tammy has special interest and experience working with anxiety including panic, depression including post-partum depression, separation and divorce, domestic violence, school and family issues, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral difficulties. Tammy received her undergraduate degree from Duke University. She then received her Masters in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law.
