Tammy Goldberg, LCSW-C, Esq.

Tammy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who provides therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. Her diverse background and experience in areas such as educational advocacy, separation and divorce, and domestic abuse deeply inform her clinical approach and allow her to connect with clients across a wide range of life circumstances.

Tammy works collaboratively with clients in a warm, non-judgmental environment to explore their beliefs, thoughts, and behaviors. Together, she helps clients identify strengths, uncover patterns, and make meaningful changes that promote personal growth and well-being.

Tammy takes an integrative approach to therapy, drawing from multiple modalities to meet each client’s unique needs. Her work blends cognitive-behavioral therapy to help shift thought and behavior patterns, dynamic therapy to explore underlying emotional roots, and experiential therapy to deepen awareness through in-session experiences.

Tammy has extensive experience and special interest in treating anxiety (including panic disorder), depression (including postpartum depression), separation and divorce, domestic violence, school and family issues, autism spectrum disorders, and behavioral challenges.

She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Duke University, her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Maryland School of Law. Tammy is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
