Tamara Lubliner, LCSW-C, BCD
Tamarais one of the founding partners of Century Mental Health, Inc. and has been providing counseling and psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and groups for more than 30 years.
Her work centers on helping people cultivate positive and meaningful relationships with others while remaining true to themselves. Tamara guides clients in exploring how past relationships influence current experiences and supports them in understanding the ways their thoughts and perceptions shape their emotions and behaviors.
Tamara views therapy as an opportunity to gain deeper self-awareness and insight into personal patterns. With compassion and respect, she helps clients identify defenses and behaviors that may limit growth, opening the door to healthier relationships, improved communication, and a greater sense of choice and fulfillment. Her warm and thoughtful approach provides a safe environment for navigating life’s challenges and transitions while developing the skills needed for a more satisfying and creative life.
Education and Professional Background
Tamara earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Syracuse University and her Master’s Degree in Social Work from The Catholic University of America’s National Catholic School of Social Service.
She has advanced training in psychodynamic, experiential, cognitive, and gestalt therapies, along with specialized training in family and couples therapy. Tamara works with both adults and adolescents and has a special interest in addressing depression, anxiety, relationships, addictions, stress management, life transitions, and cancer-related issues.
Tamara is a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, a member of The Academy of Certified Social Workers, and a member of The American Academy of Psychotherapists. She has also been listed in Who’s Who of American Women since 1981.
