Suzanne Ricklin, LCSW-C, BCD, CEDS-C
Suzanne is one of the two founding partners of Century Mental Health, Inc. She has provided counseling and psychotherapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families for more than 30 years. Suzanne works with clients facing a wide range of personal, emotional, life transition, and mental health challenges.
In a warm and relaxed setting, Suzanne collaborates with each client to build resilience, strengthen communication, and develop effective coping and problem-solving skills. She helps clients explore how their thoughts and perceptions influence their moods, feelings, and behaviors, creating space for greater awareness and meaningful change.
Suzanne views therapy as a unique opportunity for self-discovery and personal growth. Her goal is to help clients clarify their intentions, reduce stress, and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their relationships. Integrating training in cognitive, behavioral, psychodynamic, dialectical, Rogerian, and experiential therapies, Suzanne guides clients toward more balanced, satisfying, and fulfilling lives.

Suzanne has expertise in treating eating disorders, weight and body concerns and related issues of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, addictions and other compulsive behaviors.
Through the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), she is an iaedp Certified Eating Disorders Specialist and an Approved Consultant (CEDS-C), one of a limited number of professionals nationwide and internationally to achieve these two distinctions. She is a Board Certified Diplomate in Clinical Social Work, a Maryland Board Approved Supervisor and a member of the Academy of Certified Social Workers. Suzanne received Undergraduate Degree in Education from the University of Maryland and her Master’s Degree from The University of Maryland School of Social Work.
